Position Overview

Tyko Sign Group is seeking an experienced Sign Installer to join our Los Angeles team.

This role requires hands-on expertise in installing, repairing, and servicing electrical

signs, as well as the ability to safely operate heavy equipment. The ideal candidate is

dependable, safety-focused, and experienced working in the field on commercial

signage projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Install new electrical signs, including:

• LED Channel Letters, LED Displays, Neon Channel Letters, Neon signs, and associated electrical components

• Install new non-electrical signs, including:

• Vinyl graphics and applications, digital prints, and other applied or surface-mounted signage

• Perform repairs, maintenance, and service calls on all signage listed above

• Troubleshoot electrical sign issues on-site

• Safely operate heavy equipment such as bucket trucks, lifts, and cranes

• Read and interpret installation drawings, blueprints, and work orders

• Ensure all work complies with electrical codes, safety standards, and local regulations

• Coordinate with internal teams to complete projects efficiently

• Maintain tools, vehicles, and equipment in good working condition

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience installing electrical signs

• Proven experience with electrical sign installation, repairs, and servicing

• Strong knowledge of electrical signage systems and components

• Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and confidently

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

• Ability to work outdoors and at heights

• Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with national brand electrical signage

• Electrical certifications or licenses (a plus)

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

• Ability to work independently or as part of a team
