Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Events Assistant to join our team in an entry-level capacity. This role is ideal for someone looking to begin a career in event planning, coordination, and production.

Position Overview:
The Events Assistant will support the planning, coordination, and execution of events from start to finish. You will work closely with the events team to ensure all logistical and operational details are handled efficiently, contributing to successful and well-executed events.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the planning and coordination of events, meetings, and special projects
  • Support event setup, breakdown, and on-site execution
  • Communicate with vendors, venues, and internal teams as needed
  • Help maintain event schedules, timelines, and checklists
  • Assist with registration, guest coordination, and attendee support
  • Provide administrative support including data entry, filing, and document preparation
  • Troubleshoot on-site issues and provide real-time support during events
  • Ensure all event materials and supplies are prepared and organized

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework in hospitality, communications, marketing, or related field preferred
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required by event schedules
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn

Preferred Skills (Not Required):

  • Prior internship or volunteer experience in events, hospitality, or customer service
