Growing together. The Sterile Processing Tech functions as an integral member of the team and is responsible for performing technical tasks that support clinical operations. The focus of this position is the decontamination and reprocessing of instrument sets and reusable sterile supplies. Openings available: Everett & Arlington / Schedule: Monday - Friday 10 am - 6:30 pm Primary Responsibilities:Receives and processes instrumentation, supplies, and equipment from the operating room, departments, clinics, and outside customers in a timely mannerCleaning and decontamination of instruments, scopes, equipment, and disposal of biohazard Utilizing proper PPE, tech will disassemble, inspect, and decontaminate via manual, ultrasonic and automated process following IFU's Performs sterilization, and high-level disinfection of instruments, scopes and equipment via steam autoclaves, low temp and liquid chemical Performs and records required daily quality checks and tests on the sterile processing environment, instrumentation, and equipmentDocument's sterilization, HLD and tasks via electronic records, SPM or paper chartingFollows standards for handling instrumentation and equipment including AAMI standards and manufacturers instruction for useMaintains assigned work areas and equipment to follow AAMI standards and IFU'sAssists in orientation of new employees to each work assignment area and total department operation

The hourly pay for this role will range from $17.98 to $32.12 per hour based on full-time employment.
