Private Family in Rumson Seeking a Full-Time Live-In Housekeeper/Nanny

Position: Full-Time Live-In Housekeeper/Nanny
Schedule: Monday–Friday with occasional evenings and mornings, they are guaranteeing 40 hours/week but need someone who can be flexible with the schedule
Salary: $1000–$1,200 take-home per week take home, depending on experience
Start Date: ASAP
Requested Commitment: 2–5 years

About the Family

A warm and hands-on family in Rumson,NJ is seeking an experienced and organized Live-In Housekeeper/Nanny to support their home and assist with their two young children. Mom and Dad are very involved parents but are looking for someone dependable who can help maintain the household and step in with childcare support as needed.

The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, patient, and genuinely enjoys working with young children while keeping a home running smoothly.

Adults: 2
Children: 3 children ( 9 , 7 , 2 years old, expecting a 4th baby)
Home Size: 6,500 square feet

Staff: Full Time Housekeeper

Position Responsibilities

Childcare

• Help with the newborn while the mom cares for the older children
• Help mom prepare breakfasts for the children
• Assist with childcare throughout the day as needed
• Babysitting required approximately 2 evenings per week and occasional mornings

Housekeeping

• Help with housekeeping ( a full time housekeeper is laready employed)
• Daily cleaning and organization
• Maintain neat and organized living spaces
• Family laundry, including hand-washing delicate items
• Occasional ironing

Cooking

• Help start and prep simple family dinners
• Plain, healthy cooking preferred

Position Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
• Prior experience working in private homes
• Strong housekeeping and organizational skills
• Minimum of 2 excellent references
• Ability to pass stringent background checks and drug testing
• English-speaking required

Living Accommodations

• Private bedroom and private bathroom provided
• Paid vacation included
