Role Snapshot

As a Senior Multi-Axis CNC Lathe/Mill Specialist on the Pall Aerospace Machine Shop team in New Port Richey, FL , you will execute complex setups and run precision parts on advanced multi-axis CNC mills and lathes. This is an onsite role on 2nd shift, Monday–Friday, 2:45 PM–11:15 PM , with frequent overtime .

What You’ll Do

• Own complex setups and high-precision operation of multi-axis CNC mills and/or lathes.
• Select tooling, fixturing, and machining methods to efficiently produce precision components.
• Interpret engineering documentation—castings, forgings, and detailed drawings—to plan machining approaches.
• Conduct first-piece and in-process inspections using precision gauges and automated CMMs; verify to blueprint and GD&T requirements.
• Run secondary operations (e.g., drill press, stamping press, deburring) as needed to complete parts.
• Read CNC programs and make adjustments to address tool wear or minor programming oversights.

What You Bring

• High School Diploma or GED. Alternatively, completion of a Trade School Apprenticeship or 10+ years of CNC setup experience.
• Strong command of shop math: algebra, geometry, trigonometry, and GD&T.

Preferred Experience

• Operation of machining centers up to 9 axes .
• Skilled interpretation of tool and part drawings, including geometric tolerancing and manual dimension calculations.
• Ability to read and adjust CNC programs to mitigate excessive tool wear and tune processes.
