San Vicente Clubs is a prestigious private members-only club originating in West Hollywood, California. Since its 2019 opening, San Vicente Bungalows has established itself as a premier destination for individuals seeking a refined and intimate social experience. Our exclusive establishment offers an oasis of tranquility, luxury, and personalized service to our esteemed members. Building on the success of the original West Hollywood location San Vicente expanded to Santa Monica in November 2024 and New York City in March 2025.

Position Purpose

The Host is responsible for delivering a warm, seamless, and highly personalized arrival experience for members and guests. As the first point of contact, this role serves as an ambassador of the club, ensuring each interaction reflects the highest standards of hospitality, professionalism, and discretion. In partnership with Membership, Front Office, and Food & Beverage teams, the Host supports reservations and seating flow with care and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Welcome members and guests with warmth, confidence, and professionalism, creating an exceptional first impression.
• Assist in managing reservations, seating arrangements, and dining room flow with accuracy and efficiency.
• Maintain seating charts and floor plans to support a seamless and thoughtful guest experience.
• Escort members and guests to their tables, ensuring comfort and awareness of preferences whenever possible.
• Anticipate guest needs, accommodate special requests, and communicate effectively with service teams.
• Support the pace and flow of the dining room in partnership with the Food & Beverage team.
• Answer phone calls and guest inquiries with polished and professional communication.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front-of-house environment at all times.
• Communicate guest feedback, preferences, and service opportunities to the appropriate teams.
• Support additional front-of-house responsibilities as needed to ensure a polished and seamless operation.

Knowledge, Skills and Skills

• Prior experience in a luxury hospitality, private club, or refined restaurant environment preferred.
• Basic understanding of reservations systems and guest flow management.
• Familiarity with SevenRooms, Resy, Toast, or similar platforms preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a guest-first mindset.
• Ability to remain composed, attentive, and detail-oriented in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Host or in a front-of-house role preferred.
• Polished presentation with a naturally warm and professional demeanor.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
• Team-oriented with a willingness to support overall operations.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and varied shifts as required.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift.
• Ability to move safely and efficiently through front-of-house and dining areas.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds as needed.
• Ability to bend, reach, and perform repetitive movements associated with service operations.
• Ability to maintain composure and professionalism in a fast-paced environment.
