Role context

This is an on-site role in Chaska, MN , embedded within the Instrument Supplier Quality organization. You’ll report to the Sr. Quality Manager responsible for Instrument Quality and collaborate daily across Quality, Engineering, Operations, and Regulatory.

Your challenge

• Architect and execute supplier quality strategies: selection, qualification, audit planning, change notification assessment, CAPA leadership, and performance scorecards.
• Design supplier material control plans that enable robust product qualification and sustained performance.
• Serve as the point leader for root cause analysis and corrective action on supplier-driven manufacturing nonconformances.
• Conduct on-site supplier visits to resolve product performance issues and prevent recurrence.
• Develop recommendations for the product regulatory committee regarding appropriate field actions.
• Lead Kaizen events to streamline transactional processes, cut variation, embed lean practices, and remove waste—boosting efficiency and associate engagement.

What sets you up for success

• Degree in a relevant scientific/engineering field (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, etc.).
• 5+ years of quality experience with a bachelor’s; 3+ years with a master’s; or a doctoral degree.
• ASQ CQE preferred.
• Proficiency with 21 CFR 820 and ISO 14971 .
