Editor & Motion Graphics Designer (Contract)

Location: Burbank, CA (Hybrid)

Duration: 12-Month Contract

Overview

We're seeking a multidisciplinary Editor & Motion Graphics Designer to support high-impact content creation within a leading gaming and entertainment environment.

This role blends video editing and motion design, bringing together storytelling, pacing, and visual effects to create engaging trailers, user acquisition (UA) content, and social media assets. The ideal candidate has a strong creative eye, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and can adapt quickly across styles and formats while maintaining high production quality.

What You'll Do

• Edit video content for trailers, digital ads, and social media campaigns
• Design and integrate motion graphics, titles, transitions, and visual effects to enhance storytelling
• Transform raw gameplay footage into polished, engaging content
• Sync visuals with music, sound effects, and voiceovers for maximum impact
• Ensure all assets meet platform-specific requirements (social, paid media, digital)
• Collaborate with art directors, capture artists, editors, and marketing teams
• Optimize deliverables for multiple formats, resolutions, and distribution channels
• Stay current on editing, motion design, and digital content trends

What You Bring

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects
• Strong video editing skills (pacing, sequencing, storytelling)
• Expertise in motion design (keyframing, typography, transitions)
• Basic audio editing and sound refinement skills
• Experience with color correction and grading
• Familiarity with social media formats, aspect ratios, and digital marketing content
• Bonus: Experience with Unreal Engine or Unity capture tools

Soft Skills

• Strong storytelling instincts and visual sensibility
• Clear communicator and collaborative team player
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and fast turnarounds
• Open to feedback and able to iterate quickly
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail

Nice to Have

• Experience in gaming, entertainment, or trailer production
• Background in user acquisition (UA) or performance marketing content
• Understanding of gameplay capture workflows

In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data. This position is onsite and requires you to work closely with other individuals in a collaborative team environment.
