General Motors Certified Master Technician Location: Oakes GMC | Kansas City, MO Schedule: Full-Time Compensation: $35.00 - $52.00 + Flat Rate Hour About the Role Oakes Auto Group is seeking an experienced Certified Master Technician to join our growing service team. This role is ideal for a highly skilled technician who excels at advanced diagnostics, takes pride in quality workmanship, and enjoys contributing to a high-performing shop environment. The Certified Master Technician serves as a technical resource within the service department while helping maintain manufacturer standards, shop productivity, and customer satisfaction. Pay & Benefits * Competitive pay based on experience * Health, dental, and vision insurance * 401(k) with company match * Paid time off + paid holidays * Employee discounts * Career growth across multiple stores * Locally owned and operated * Tuition reimbursement * Community involvement and volunteer opportunities What You’ll Do * Perform advanced diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs using manufacturer-approved tools, equipment, and procedures * Diagnose and repair complex electrical, engine, transmission, drivability, steering, suspension, brake, HVAC, and related vehicle systems * Complete customer-pay, warranty, recall, and maintenance repairs while maintaining manufacturer and dealership quality standards * Accurately document repair procedures, diagnostic findings, and recommendations while communicating effectively with Service Advisors and leadership * Support technician development by assisting with advanced diagnostics, sharing technical knowledge, and contributing to an efficient shop environment What We’re Looking For We are looking for a highly skilled technician with strong diagnostic abilities, a commitment to quality workmanship, and a desire to continuously improve.
