Job Summary :

As a Gas Station Cashier at Shell, you will be the face of our business, providing excellent customer service while handling transactions efficiently. You will be responsible for managing cash, operating the point-of-sale system, and ensuring a clean and welcoming environment for our customers.

Key Responsibilities :

• Customer Service : Greet customers warmly, provide information about products and services, and address any inquiries or concerns.
• Transaction Processing : Accurately handle cash, credit, and debit transactions, ensuring that all sales are processed promptly.
• Inventory Management : Assist with restocking shelves and maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the store.
• Safety and Compliance : Adhere to all safety and health regulations, including proper handling of fuel and hazardous materials.
• Promotions : Inform customers about ongoing promotions, loyalty programs, and upsell products where applicable.
• Team Collaboration : Work closely with fellow team members to create a positive work environment and improve overall service efficiency.

Qualifications :

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous cashier or customer service experience is a plus.
• Basic math skills and ability to handle cash accurately.
• Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Physical Requirements :

• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Some lifting may be required (up to 25 lbs).
