Job Description

PPS is seeking an experienced Customer Service Representative for our fabrication operation in Parma Heights. This is a full-time, permanent, direct hire opportunity offering excellent benefits (profit-sharing bonuses and on-site gym access) with significant growth potential at a 100-year company.

Responsibilities:

• Partner closely with Sales Representatives to quote products accurately and efficiently.

• Collaborate with customers to forecast part demand based on historical usage and production plans.

• Respond to customer quality and engineering requests while coordinating with supervisors and internal quality/engineering teams.

• Manage and enter sales orders and quotations into the company ERP system.

• Review customer purchase orders for material specifications, packaging requirements, and pricing; provide recommendations when appropriate.

• Review customer prints for dimensional accuracy, material specifications, and other critical requirements.

• Process returned orders within the ERP system, coordinate returns and replacement shipments, and work with quality and engineering teams to resolve issues.

• Partner with procurement to coordinate strategic purchasing of metals/alloys to fulfill customer requirements and monitor precious metal contract balances.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentation abilities.

• Strong analytical, negotiation, and organizational skills.

• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV preferred.

• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively.

• Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and results-driven.

• Strong writing, proofreading, and technical aptitude.

• Ability to communicate effectively across all levels of an organization.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines.

• Ability to lead project teams with diverse skill sets across multiple locations.

• 1–3 years of customer service experience required; manufacturing experience preferred.

• Aerospace or medical industry experience is a plus.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration preferred.

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
