Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Civil & Structural Engineer with 5–7 years of experience supporting industrial and brownfield projects. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in structural design, industrial facilities, pipe racks, machine foundations, and structural analysis.

The candidate should be proficient with STAAD.Pro, RAM Connection, and AutoCAD , with a strong understanding of applicable US codes and standards. A PE License is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform structural engineering and design for industrial and CPG facilities .
• Develop and review structural calculations, drawings, specifications, and design documentation.
• Design and analyze industrial structures, pipe racks, platforms, equipment supports, and foundations .
• Perform structural analysis using STAAD.Pro and related engineering tools.
• Perform connection design and analysis using RAM Connection .
• Prepare and modify engineering drawings using AutoCAD .
• Support brownfield projects , including modifications to existing structures and facilities.
• Perform site assessments and field verification of existing structures.
• Coordinate structural design with civil, mechanical, piping, electrical, and other engineering disciplines.
• Review existing conditions and develop practical engineering solutions for modifications and upgrades.
• Ensure designs comply with applicable US building codes, structural codes, and industry standards .
• Prepare technical reports, calculations, specifications, and design deliverables.
• Review vendor drawings and engineering documents.
• Support construction teams by responding to RFIs and technical questions.
• Participate in site visits, design reviews, and project meetings.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, and other project stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering , or a related discipline.
• 5–7 years of relevant civil/structural engineering experience.
• Industrial, manufacturing, CPG, or similar facility experience preferred.
• Strong experience with structural design and analysis .
• Hands-on experience with STAAD.Pro .
• Experience with RAM Connection .
• Proficiency with AutoCAD .
• Experience with brownfield projects and existing facility modifications .
• Strong knowledge of applicable US codes and standards .
• Experience designing industrial structures, pipe racks, and machine foundations .
• Strong engineering documentation and technical communication skills.
• PE License preferred .

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in industrial EPC projects.
• Experience working with multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Field/site engineering experience.
• Experience with structural steel and reinforced concrete design.
• Experience supporting construction and commissioning activities.

Work Arrangement: St. Louis, MO
Salary: $85K annually
Employment: Full-Time
