We are seeking a detail-oriented, high-energy AR Cash Applications Specialist to join our finance team. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, love the "puzzle" of reconciling complex payments, and have a few years of experience under your belt, we want to hear from you.
As our Cash Applications Specialist, you won’t just be entering data; you’ll be the gatekeeper of our incoming revenue, ensuring every dollar is accounted for and accurately applied.
salary: $23 - $24 per hour
shift: First
work hours: 8 AM - 4 PM

Responsibilities
- Precision Posting: Accurately post high volumes of daily B2B payments (ACH, Wire, Check, and Credit Card).
- Problem Solving: Identify and resolve payment discrepancies, short-pays, and unapplied cash by collaborating with the Collections and Billing teams.
- Reconciliation: Perform daily and monthly bank-to-ledger reconciliations to ensure the books are balanced.
- Process Improvement: Identify bottlenecks in the remittance process and suggest ways to automate or streamline workflows.
- Customer Relations: Work professionally with internal stakeholders and external vendors to clarify remittance details.
What You Bring to the Table - Experience: 2–5 years of dedicated experience in Accounts Receivable or Cash Applications.
- Technical Savvy: Proficiency in mid-to-large scale ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics).
- Excel Skills: You should be comfortable with VLOOKUPs and Pivot Tables—manual reconciliation doesn't scare you, but you know how to make the software do the heavy lifting.
- Accuracy: A "eagle eye" for detail. You spot a decimal error from a mile away.
- Communication: The ability to explain complex payment issues to non-finance colleagues clearly and concisely.
